23 information boards have been put up on a circular walking route that starts in Bad Gögging on the river the Abens and proceeds over Neustadt back to the old municipal park in Bad Gögging. On these signs, a water eco system and several themes concerning nature- and culture landscape on the water are introduced on the banks of the Abens and the Danube.  These presentations, for example, include the farming methods of the for this region typical hop, the characteristic features of the moors and the sources of Bad Gögging, and the former cultivation of the landscape through the Romans. The main emphasis of this nature trail however is on the characteristic fish species, especially their distinguishing features and habits.
